Indecisive Bride - Cake Topper

Like I've talked about in the past, I've seen a lot of weddings over the years, which means I've seen a lot of wedding cakes and cakes toppers.

To me a cake topper is a silly small detail of the wedding, but it's a detail that can cost a pretty penny depending on what you want. For myself I would like my cake topper to be personal while being cost effective. So what better way of doing that other then making it myself.

This is where you could in- I would like your opinion on what I should do.

I found these wooden S's (two S's- for Sam & Stacy) that I want to use, but I'm not sure how I want to lay them out.  Here are the four looks to pick from.

1.

2.

3.

4.

I understand 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are pretty much the same, but in different colors. However, the color is important too. And like I said in the last post, I don't know why my camera makes the purple look blue.

What I like about option 1 & 2 is that you can see the 2 S's and them being joining together.

What I like about option 3 & 4 is that the 2 S's when facing each other form a heart (one heart).

Once I pick the design and color, I'm going to add some gems to the S's to make them sparkle and mount it on a mirror (or at least that's the plan for now.)

Question: Which option do you like best? Have you seen any really unique cake toppers that you thought were prefect for the couple getting married?

  1. I like 3, the combining of the 2 symbols into 1 and the color. Don't know what you colors are but there you go...

  5. hmm tough call here...depends on wt you are doing for decorations and "theme"..3/4 represents lk the "open heart" while 1/2 are the two of you coming together....but both families love you no matter which one you choose :) <3 (your soon to be--sorta already--cousin, Amanda)
